Autoglym Scotland operates as the official Autoglym franchise for Scotland and supplies genuine Autoglym products to consumers, professional users and trade customers throughout Scotland.
2. Our Website
Our website is:
autoglymscotland.co.uk
We take reasonable care to ensure that information displayed on our website is accurate and up to date.
Product images are provided for illustration purposes. Packaging, labels or product appearance may occasionally change without materially changing the product supplied.
We may update, change or remove website content, products or services from time to time.
3. Who We Sell To
We supply products to both:
-
consumers purchasing wholly or mainly for personal use; and
-
businesses, professional users and trade customers.
Certain rights referred to in these Terms apply specifically to consumers under UK consumer law.
If you purchase products wholly or mainly for business purposes, consumer cancellation rights may not apply to your purchase.
4. Products
We make reasonable efforts to describe products accurately, including their main characteristics, size and intended use.
Please read all product descriptions and applicable usage or safety information before purchase and use.
Product availability is subject to stock.
If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and may offer an alternative or provide a refund for the unavailable product.
5. Prices
Product prices shown on the website will clearly indicate the applicable selling price.
Where VAT is applicable, prices and checkout information will show the appropriate VAT treatment.
Delivery charges are shown separately where applicable before you complete your order.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted by us.
If we discover an obvious pricing error after an order has been placed, we will contact you before processing the order. You may then choose whether to proceed at the correct price or cancel the affected item or order.
6. Placing an Order
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products contained in your order.
You will have an opportunity to check and correct your order before submitting it.
Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
A contract between you and us is formed when we accept your order and confirm that it will be fulfilled.
We may decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
-
a product is unavailable;
-
there has been an obvious pricing or website error;
-
we cannot deliver to the address provided;
-
payment has not been authorised;
-
we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse of the website; or
-
fulfilling the order would breach applicable law.
Where we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the relevant amount.
7. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered during checkout.
By submitting payment information, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers.
We do not store full payment card details where these are handled directly by our payment processor.
8. Delivery Area
We currently deliver website orders within Scotland.
Orders placed for delivery outside our supported delivery area may be declined or cancelled.
9. Delivery Charges
Our current standard delivery charges are:
Orders over £50: Free delivery
Orders under £50: £7.49 + VAT
Any applicable delivery charge will be shown before you complete your purchase.
10. Delivery Times
Orders are normally delivered by your local Autoglym representative within 5 working days, subject to stock availability, delivery location and circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where there is likely to be a significant delay, we will attempt to contact you using the information supplied with your order.
Delivery times are estimates unless we expressly agree a specific delivery date with you.
11. Receiving Your Order
Please inspect your order after delivery.
If products are missing, damaged, faulty or different from those ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
You can contact us using:
Email: nadeem@caledoniaautocare.co.uk
Telephone: +44 7783 526223
Please provide your order number and details of the issue. We may request photographs where reasonably necessary to help us investigate the problem.
12. Consumer Right to Cancel
If you are purchasing as a consumer online, you normally have a statutory right to cancel your order without giving a reason.
For most goods, you may notify us that you wish to cancel at any time from placing your order until 14 days after the day on which you receive the goods.
To exercise your cancellation right, you must clearly tell us that you wish to cancel.
You can do this by contacting:
Email: nadeem@caledoniaautocare.co.uk
Telephone: +44 7783 526223
Please include your name and order number where possible.
You do not have to use any particular wording to exercise your cancellation right.
13. Returning Goods After Cancellation
After notifying us that you wish to cancel, you must return the relevant goods within 14 days.
Please contact us before returning goods so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.
Unless the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or we agree otherwise, you are responsible for the cost of returning goods where you have simply changed your mind.
Products should be returned with their original packaging where reasonably possible and with all components supplied.
Consumers may inspect and handle products to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality, in a similar way to how they might inspect an item in a physical shop.
Where the value of returned goods has been reduced as a result of unnecessary handling beyond what would reasonably be required to inspect them, we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund where permitted by law.
14. Exceptions to Consumer Cancellation Rights
Certain goods may be excluded from statutory change-of-mind cancellation rights where an exemption under applicable consumer law applies.
This may include, where relevant, goods that:
-
have been made to your specifications or clearly personalised;
-
are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly; or
-
have been sealed for health protection or hygiene reasons and have been unsealed after delivery, where the applicable legal exemption applies.
Any statutory exemption will only be applied where legally applicable.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights in relation to faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied products.
15. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
If goods are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, please contact us as soon as possible.
Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, an appropriate remedy may include:
-
repair;
-
replacement;
-
refund; or
-
another remedy required by applicable consumer law.
Where we require faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods to be returned, we will be responsible for reasonable return costs.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
16. Refunds
Where you validly cancel an online consumer order under your statutory cancellation rights, we will refund the payments due to you in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.
For returned goods, refunds will normally be processed within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or within 14 days of receiving evidence that you have returned them where applicable.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method originally used, unless otherwise agreed.
Where a consumer validly cancels an entire order under statutory cancellation rights, we will also refund the basic standard outbound delivery charge where required by law.
If you selected a more expensive delivery method than our standard delivery option, we are not required to refund the additional premium above the standard delivery cost.
Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the refund in your account after it has been processed by us.
17. Business and Trade Customers
Where products are purchased wholly or mainly for business or professional purposes, statutory consumer cancellation rights do not apply in the same way.
Business and trade customers wishing to return an item should contact their Autoglym representative or contact us directly.
We will consider business returns in accordance with the circumstances of the order, any applicable trade arrangements and these Terms.
Nothing in this section excludes rights relating to goods that are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied where those rights cannot lawfully be excluded.
18. Shipping, Returns & Refunds Policy
Further details about delivery, cancellations, returns and refunds can be found in our Shipping, Returns & Refunds Policy.
That policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
If there is any conflict between these Terms and information on another part of the website relating to returns or refunds, we will apply the interpretation that complies with your applicable statutory rights.
19. Manufacturer Information and Product Use
Autoglym products should be used in accordance with the instructions supplied with the product and any applicable technical or safety guidance.
Professional products should only be used by appropriately informed or trained users where this is required by the nature of the product.
We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, failure to follow instructions, inappropriate application or use contrary to applicable warnings, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
20. Autoglym Brand and Intellectual Property
Autoglym Scotland is the official Autoglym franchise for Scotland.
Autoglym names, logos, trademarks, product names, packaging, photography and other brand assets used on this website remain the property of their respective owners.

You may view and use the website for normal personal or business purchasing purposes.
22. Our Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
In particular, nothing excludes liability for:
-
death or personal injury caused by negligence;
-
fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
-
any other liability which cannot legally be excluded or limited.
For consumers, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
For business customers, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the purchase or use of products where such exclusion is lawful.
23. Events Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations where caused by circumstances genuinely outside our reasonable control.
This may include severe weather, transport disruption, supplier interruption, industrial action, network failures or other exceptional circumstances.
Where such an event affects an order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and communicate with you where appropriate.
24. Privacy and Personal Information

Telephone: +44 7783 526223
Please include your order number and enough information for us to investigate the matter.
27. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website, services or applicable law.
The Terms applying to your purchase will normally be those published on the website when your order was placed.
The latest version will be displayed on this page together with the date it was last updated.
28. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom and, where appropriate, Scots law.
If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory rights relating to where legal proceedings may be brought.
